It was "the Slap heard around the world." No, not that Will Smith one. This one was from Star Wars "Acolyte" actor Jodie Turner-Smith when she said: “I feel like Star Wars Is Very Like Patriarchal.” Apparently, She's never watched it. From PRINCESS Leia (who took big time charge in the very first movie) through to Rey (who, many argue, pretty much took over the whole movie franchise in a "Mary Sue" sort of way), actual fans know that Star Wars has strong female characters. When Jody made that claim, "a million voices cried out," but they were far from silenced!

Some people (and the writer-director Leslye Headland) who've clearly never even seen Star Wars believe it's "very Patriarchal." Sadly for the franchise (and the rest of us ex-fans) these activists and woke have been given the "keys to the kingdom...empire" and are now re-working everything with gender bending and "instilling their queer sensibilities." We've already seen how this plays out: the fans don't show up. Because, they're no longer fans. This is no longer Star Wars. This is some perversion of it. So, why not have a storm trooper fashion show!? 'makes total sense in this new, woke universe! Talented writers, directors or even people who just love and know the franchise need not apply. Just tick the woke boxes, and "you're in!" Make sure to get your coaching on how to tell the fans that they are the ones who are "ists" even though everything on the creation end has been passed through a race and gender lens.
